What PassTru runs

PassTru connects attendee records, check-in, booth engagement, public event pages, staff access, and token billing.

Clients configure the organization and events. Event managers run check-in. Booth operators work with assigned booths. Attendees and visitors use public pages without a staff account.

PassTru web addresses

PassTru separates public pages from signed-in workspaces. `www.passtru.com` hosts public content and event journeys. `app.passtru.com` hosts dashboards and staff tools.

  • Use `www.passtru.com` for public check-in, attendee portals, visitor registration, and booth scan routes.
  • Use `app.passtru.com` for sign-in, client portal, super admin pages, and event portal workspaces.
  • If a staff route is opened on the public host, PassTru redirects it to the app host.

Create your account

Open Sign up and enter your full name, organization name, organization slug, email address, and password.

The organization slug appears in public event URLs. Choose a short slug that is safe to share.

Recommended checklist

  • Choose a clear organization name.
  • Choose an organization slug that is safe to share publicly.
  • Use an operations email address that the team monitors.
  • Verify the email address before your first live setup session.

Open your workspace

After sign-in, PassTru opens the workspace assigned to your role.

When legal documents change, you must accept the current versions before opening authenticated pages.

  • Clients open the organization dashboard.
  • Super admins open the platform dashboard.
  • Event managers open check-in for an assigned event.
  • Booth operators open their assigned booth workspace.

Test your first event

Buy tokens, create the event, add a few attendees, test the attendee page and QR flow, then activate public check-in.

Complete one attendee journey before sharing public links.

Recommended checklist

  • Buy the token types you need before loading live data.
  • Create the event and confirm the event slug, date, and venue.
  • Add or import attendees.
  • Send one confirmation email and test the attendee portal.
  • Activate the public check-in page only after a successful QR or manual check-in test.
  • If you are using gamification, complete one visitor registration and one booth scan test too.

Share event access

  • Share the public check-in page with attendees when self-service check-in is enabled.
  • Send each attendee their personal portal link through the confirmation email.
  • Share the visitor registration page when booth engagement is enabled.
  • Event staff should sign in through the PassTru app rather than using public links.
